Built on Afghan expertise.
Committed to Afghan futures.
Ibn-e-Sina Research & Development Organisation is a permanent knowledge institution — non-profit, Afghan-led, politically independent — dedicated to evidence-based development.
Named after history's greatest scientist.
Ibn Sina (Avicenna) was one of history's great universal scientists, whose works enriched humanity's understanding of medicine, philosophy, and the natural world. His name carries a profound ideal: knowledge placed entirely in service of human progress.
This is the spirit that guides our organisation. Like Ibn Sina's contributions, our work is above particular ethnic, local, or factional interests — it is entirely devoted to the benefit and happiness of the Afghan people.
If the right programme for economic reconstruction of Afghanistan is put on the agenda, the century-long suffering of the Afghan people will come to an end. A bright future lies ahead.
No power other than the Afghan nation itself can build the Afghanistan of tomorrow. If this land aspires to genuine economic independence, it must draw strength from within — to produce independently, to build self-sufficiently, and to make its own sovereign decisions.— ISRAND Founding Charter
